Overlooking the historic town centre of Lucerne, the lake and the surrounding Alps, all areas of the Art Deco Hotel Montana have been lovingly renovated by renowned architect Pia Schmid. The Montana also holds numerous well-known events such as the annual appearance of the “Ess-Theater” theatre group and there are live jazz jam sessions held every Thursday night. With the largest collection of Scottish whiskey in central Switzerland, the hotel's Louis Bar has long been a meeting point for Lucerne’s stylish locals.

The hotel is famous for its events throughout the year. Every Thursday evening for example there is a life jazz jam session at the Louis Bar. Jazz lovers are encouraged to bring their instruments and join in. From November to January you can enjoy the yearly 'Moving Theatre' that leads viewers through the entire hotel (in German only).
Scala Restaurant offers a light Mediterranean cuisine and has been awarded with 15 Gault Millau points. Enjoy your meal under palm trees with panoramic views over Lucerne, Lake Lucerne and the mountains. Lunch is served from 12:00 and dinner from 18:00.

All children from 6 to 12 years are charged CHF 30.00 per night and person for extra beds. All older children or adults are charged CHF 65.00 per night and person for extra beds.
